Maria Zagidullina

Maria Zagidullina is a Company Artist with BIG Live. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1997, she trained at the prestigious Vaganova Ballet Academy before continuing her studies at the Riga Choreography School and Ateneo Della Danza in Italy.

Her talent was recognised early, winning 1st Prize at the International “Dance Olympics” Competition in Latvia (2017) and 2nd Prize for Kitri at the International Ballet Competition in Rome (2019). Maria has performed an extensive classical repertoire with companies including the Mariinsky Theatre, Latvian Ballet Theatre, and Balletto di Siena, dancing roles in Don Quixote, Swan Lake, La Bayadère, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Raymonda, Esmeralda, and Zorba, among many others.

In 2024, she performed as a Soloist with the Ankara State Opera and Ballet, before joining BIG Live as a Company Artist, where she now appears in major productions across its national and international seasons.
