Emilia Bignami

Emilia began her ballet training at the age of nine, studying for four years at Promenade Dance Studio before moving into full-time training at the Queensland College of Dance, where she remained for another four years. In 2018, she was awarded the Advanced 1 RAD Bursary, and in 2020 she represented Australia on the international stage, competing in the prestigious Prix de Lausanne.

In 2021, Emilia joined the Queensland Ballet’s Pre-Professional Program, performing alongside the company in Études and the Bespoke season. The following year, she became a member of BIG Live, where she has since performed in numerous productions. Her leading roles with the company include Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Clara in The Nutcracker as well as a Ghost in Dracula: A Thrilling Ballet Premiere
