Emilia Bignami

Emilia Bignami is a Soloist Artist with BIG Live. She began ballet training at the age of 9, studying for four years at Promenade Dance Studio before moving into full-time training at the Queensland College of Dance for a further four years. Emilia was awarded the Advanced 1 RAD Bursary in 2018 and represented Australia at the Prix de Lausanne in 2020. In 2021, she joined Queensland Ballet’s Pre-Professional Program, performing alongside the company in Études and the Bespoke season. Emilia joined BIG Live in 2022, opening the company’s inaugural Gala. She has since performed in numerous Galas and full-length productions, with career highlights including Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Clara in The Nutcracker, a Ghost in Dracula, and Myrtle in The Great Gatsby.
