Ervin Zagidullin

Principal

Ervin Zagidullin is a Principal Dancer with BIG Live. Born in Kazan, Russia in 2000, he trained at the Kazan Ballet School before graduating from the Vaganova Ballet Academy in 2018.

His talent was recognized early, winning 3rd Prize at the Vaganova-Prix (2016), reaching the finals of the Prix de Lausanne (2018), and claiming 1st Prize at the International Ballet Competition in Istanbul (2024). Ervin performed with the Mariinsky Ballet before becoming a Principal with the Ankara State Opera and Ballet, dancing roles such as Basilio in Don Quixote, Solor in La Bayadère, the Jester in Swan Lake and more.

In 2024 he joined BIG Live, debuting in The Nutcracker and continuing in leading roles in its 2025 and 2026 season.
