Victor Estévez

Born in Camaguey, Cuba, Victor started ballet training at the age of eight. Victor won numerous awards at the Cuban National Ballet school and was considered one of the stars of a new generation of Cuban dancers. He joined the National Ballet of Cuba in 2011 and was promoted to principal artist in 2015. Victor has performed leading roles across classical and contemporary works from acclaimed choreographers including Jiri Kylian, Cathy Marston and Liam Scarlett. Victor moved to Australia in 2016 where he joined the Queensland Ballet as a principal artist. In 2024, Victor joined The Australian Ballet as a soloist.
